In Loving Memory of Jenea Baker
December 24, 1989 - April 24, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jenea Baker, age 35, who left this world on April 24, 2025. Jenea was born on Christmas Eve, 1989, a gift to her family and all who would come to know her. Throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of generosity and kindness that seemed fitting for someone who shared her birthday with a season of giving.

Jenea's beautiful, caring, and loving personality touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She approached life with an open heart, offering compassion without reservation and love without condition. Her generosity knew no bounds - she gave freely of herself and asked for nothing in return, finding joy in the happiness of others.

Those who knew Jenea were familiar with her enormous passion for animals, nature, and art. She found beauty in the world around her and expressed it through her appreciation for artistic expression. Her connection to nature and her compassion for animals reflected her gentle spirit and her desire to protect and nurture all living things.

Jenea was preceded in death by her mother, Lori Baker, and her father, Damon Thompson. She leaves behind her loving family who will cherish her memory forever: her father figures, Robert Witter and Samuel Ford , who played important roles in her life; her grandparents Marsha and Carlos Estrela; her life partner, Zachariah Samuel Ford; her brothers, Jordan Baker, Jaylon Baker, Jarred Baker, and Darnell Thompson; her sisters, Jai-Ana Baker and Ayana Thompson. She also leaves behind her best friends, Davonna and Megan, who shared in her joys and sorrows, along with countless other friends and acquaintances whose lives were brightened by her presence.

The void left by Jenea’s passing cannot be filled, but the love she shared and the kindness she showed will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the beauty of the natural world she so cherished.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility she found in nature, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 2pm-3:30pm followed by a service starting at 3:30pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial private.

Jenea’s wishes were to be surrounded by flowers and to not wear black attire. If you would like to contribute, please send flowers to the funeral home from Blossom Design Boutique, 160 Smithfield ave Pawtucket, RI.
